Rachel Bard receives award

Connexion 2015

Rachel Bard was honoured for her leadership and contribution to advancing health for the francophone population. with Le prix Hubert Gauthier from la Société Santé en français (SSF).  Health PEI was also recognized.

Rachel Bard has acted at a national level in her various roles as nurse, Deputy Minister of Health in New Brunswick, and CEO of the Canadian Nurses Association (CNA). She participated in creating the SSF, and was Vice President during its early years. Rachel has always held the health of Francophones close to her heart, and has made this her lifetime work.

Le prix Hubert Gauthier is the most prestigious award given by the SSF.  It recognizes the importance of leadership in health. Hubert Gauthier is a founding member of the SSF.  His skills and humanitarian qualities are dedicated to the service of francophone communities.
