TD Aboriginal Nursing Fund Award – Baccalaureate

Being in a nursing program is tough work. I find that it challenges me in multiple aspects, physically, emotionally, intellectually, and financially. However, the CNF has assisted me greatly in these challenges through the CNF TD Aboriginal Nursing Fund Award. This award has allowed me to focus on my studies and work towards excellence in nursing. Relieving the financial burden associated with tuition, books and clinical supplies not only allows me to focus on my studies, but it drives me to do my best and make the utmost difference in my community!

One of my greatest goals is to change Aboriginal health care and make it more accessible. With the help of this award, I can attain my degree and one day make this aspiration a reality! I am honored that TD and the CNF chose to sponsor me, and it means a lot to know that someone believes in your ability to do great things. This alone inspires me to continue my success and strive to make a difference in health care and within Aboriginal communities.
