Tylenol Canada Bursary Program Award

The opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and families inspired me to pursue a career in pediatric nursing. In 2022, I completed my undergraduate nursing degree from Queen’s University. I began working as a Registered Nurse (RN) at the Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) in pediatric cardiology and with the SickKids Nursing Resource Team. During this time, I volunteered with the Canadian Association of Paediatric Nurses, CAPN. I created and managed the CAPN social media accounts to celebrate pediatric nursing excellence across Canada. I was inspired by the resilient and compassionate nurses I had the privilege of working with. This led me to complete my pediatric certification exam and become a certified pediatric RN in 2023. In addition to my passion for pediatrics, I have experience in education and medical consulting.

Currently, I am a full-time graduate student in the Master of Nursing, Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner program at Queen’s University. I will be entering my second year of the program in September 2025. I would like to sincerely thank the Canadian Nurses Foundation (CNF) and Tylenol Canada for selecting me as a CNF Scholar and a 2025 Tylenol Canada Bursary Program Award recipient.
