Aside from my research, I am passionate about mentoring and teaching. My varied student and nurse experiences that have shaped my expertise in nursing education, practice and research. I value networking with nurses in my volunteer work with local, national and international nursing organizations such as the Canadian Association of Schools of Nursing and the International Council of Nurses. My leadership, teaching and service roles have continuously provided me with opportunities to advance nursing.
The generous award from the CNF supports my research about NP role competence and safe patient care.
