After studying classical music (transverse flute) and psychology, I decided to embark on a new journey. I wanted to acquire skills in the art of healing, and becoming a nurse was the solution. My dream was to work at the emergency unit. I was fortunate enough to get a job there right after graduating from college and I still hold this position on a part-time basis.

During my BScN education, I got involved as Chair of the Université de Sherbrooke nursing students association (AGÉÉSIUS). In this capacity, I had the opportunity to develop a backpack project consisting in collecting warm clothing and personal hygiene items for the homeless. Subsequently, inspired by my interest for the advancement of knowledge, I completed a master’s degree in research on a project close to my heart and inspired by real-life clinical situations: Care Experience of Elderly Cancer Patients at the Emergency Department (2012-2016). Then, I decided to expand my clinical knowledge and take on a new challenge: becoming a primary care nurse practitioner. Besides my passion for learning, I also love sports. I regularly play badminton, run, go to the gym and dance. I believe that having multiple passions is the best way to enjoy life and fulfill one’s potential.
