Hello, my name is Dejano, and I am a nursing student at the University of Alberta. I am drawn to nursing because I want to make a positive impact on the communities I belong to, particularly the Black and LGBTQ communities. My goal is to address healthcare inequalities and promote better health outcomes for Black and LGBTQ individuals through a career in nursing.
