TYLENOL® Fund to Advance Diversity in Nursing and Health Equity Research
My name is Tristan, I am a 2nd year nursing student at Dalhousie University in Halifax Nova Scotia. In my free time, I like to play hockey, be with my friends and travel. I am also on the Canadian Floorball team, which has allowed me to see a lot of the world that I otherwise would not have been able to. I am passionate about my studies and love to learn new things, especially when it comes to hands-on clinical learning experiences.
Growing up I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do, but I always knew I wanted to help people. My mom is a nurse and got me interested in the field and I quickly fell in love with the idea of making a positive difference in people’s lives. So far, nursing school has allowed me to see the world from a new angle and given me a newfound perspective on what it means to care for someone. I am super excited to see where the future takes me and how nursing will evolve with time.
