TD Aboriginal Nursing Fund Award – Baccalaureate
I am currently a second-year nursing student and am absolutely loving the program! I decided to join the profession of nursing because of the abundance of career pathways available, and the opportunity to have a positive impact on a diverse population during various stages of life! I love the idea that you get to hear different perspectives and life stories from every patient and are also pushed very hard academically to be a critical thinker and to stay up to date on current research! Currently, I am most proud of my achievements in school, earning high marks in the classroom and having confidence in the clinical setting, as I continue to work towards my bachelor’s degree! I can’t wait for my third year of studies to begin, and to begin my career as a registered nurse in the coming years!
