I started my journey in healthcare working as a paramedic with BCEHS and a medical technician with the Canadian Armed Forces. I have always loved learning, therefore going back to school to become a Registered Nurse was an easy choice. I wanted to become a nurse to expand my skills and knowledge while still working closely with patient populations. I enjoy interacting with patients and I am loving learning my new role while still having these fulfilling interactions. Registered Nurses have a diverse skill set and I look forward to having a career with endless variety and opportunity. I hope to specialize in an acute field once I complete my program in April 2023 and continue to merge my experiences as a paramedic with my training as a nurse.
