Katie is President of Community Health Nurses of Canada (CHNC).
Community Health Nurses of Canada (CHNC), an associate member of the Canadian Nurses
Association, is a voluntary association of community health nurses from across Canada. CHNC provides a unified national voice to represent and promote community health nursing and the health of communities. It provides a forum for community health nurses across Canada to share issues of mutual concern. CHNC monitors trends and issues in community health nursing and identifies and responds to issues of interest and concern which affect the health of Canadians.
Community health nurses include a wide array of nurses in the community including home health nurses and public health nurses. They practice in a variety of community settings, indeed often including the home. We couldn’t be more proud of the Canadian Nurses Foundation Gala theme this year. Home is truly where the health is!
Community Health Nurses of Canada is proud to be a patron to this year’s CNF Gala.
