John Vanderlee Award
As a 4th year nursing student I have had the opportunity to practice in a variety of challenging and dynamic environments. My experience both in acute and community care has provided me with a well-rounded scope of practice, and I look forward to further development of my skills as the years go on.
This award will enable me to continue my education toward an advanced specialty and the ability to expand my repertoire of skills in the field I love. I aspire to specialize in Emergency Nursing and one day to take my career to the skies as a flight nurse.
I am honored by this investment in my education and inspired to push my own academic limits. Thank you for this wonderful gift.
