CeraVe Skincare Scholarships for Diversity and Equity

Hi, I’m Viana Nazarzadeh, and I’m thrilled to share a bit about my journey and passion for nursing. I recently completed my first year of nursing studies at the University of Ottawa in collaboration with Algonquin college and have three more years to complete my studies. This path has been both challenging and rewarding, and I am excited about what lies ahead. 

My decision to become a nurse stemmed from a deep desire to help others and making a difference in the society. Growing up, I witnessed the impact that compassionate nurses had on my family members during times of illness. Their dedication and care inspired me to pursue a career where I could offer the same support to others.  

Receiving an award for my efforts is incredibly encouraging. It not only helps to ease the financial burden of tuition fees but also reaffirms my commitment to this vital profession. This acknowledgment and support, makes me more determined in my efforts to reach my goals. 

In the future, I aim to contribute to the Canadian healthcare system by promoting healthier living and helping to alleviate patients’ pain. I believe that every patient deserves compassionate care and attention, and I am determined to provide that throughout my career.
