TD Aboriginal Nursing Fund Award – PhD

I am a proud First Nations band member of Saskatchewan and I currently reside in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. In 2012, I graduated from the University of Saskatchewan in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program. I am currently pursuing the Doctorate of Philosophy in Nursing through the University of Saskatchewan. After graduating, my future plans are to pursue my passions of teaching and researching the strengths in partnership with the Indigenous population. I choose nursing because of the diversity within the profession. I hope sharing my biography will inspire other Indigenous people to pursue their secondary education in nursing and make a difference in their home communities.
