Chris Price

CNSA BIPOC Nursing Award

Hello there,

I wanted to take a moment to write a bit about myself so you may have a better understanding of the type of nurse I will become in my future. I had a tough life growing up. My family has always been one that struggled in matters of the heart, and I would even say it was more of a dysfunctional one at that. No matter what I will always love my family. I want to create a world where these struggles are easier to manage for others. I want to help others with their struggles and help them carry their burdens as much as I can no matter what their struggles might be. If I can have the ability to help others in a professional standing through any nursing tools that I acquire in school, it will be reward enough for me. Nursing is a forever adapting career which requires constant upgrading, this is a plus for me. I believe I will do great in both Trauma care at the hospital and care at my community health center. There are many options to explore, and I look forward to wherever this career takes me. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support and I will make big strides to make a difference every day.

Sincerely,

Chris Price
