Judy Hill Memorial Award

My name is Jessica and I am entering my final year of the BScN program at Trent University.  I have a previous degree, BSc Biomedical Science, but after careful contemplation I knew that nursing was a career I was passionate about and could derive fulfillment out of. I am currently completing a placement in a rural town in Ontario.  Upon graduation I intend to work in a rural northern community of Ontario.  I believe in the importance of accessible healthcare for all Canadians, and feel it’s important to spend part of my career serving the unique needs of patients in rural areas.  Eventually I hope to obtain my Master’s degree so I can be a nurse practitioner.  I am incredibly honoured to receive the CNF Judy Hill Memorial Scholarship, and appreciate the support it provides me in completing my nursing degree.  I would like to thank the donors and the CNF for the opportunity that this award has given me.
