Lourdes Cua is a fourth year registered nursing student at Langara College in Vancouver, BC. As the 2015-2016 Director of Membership Services for the Canadian Nursing Students’ Association, Lourdes is involved with strategic planning, recruitment of new members, and establishing new partnerships. Outside of school, Lourdes is a commissioned officer with the Canadian Forces Cadet Instructors Cadre and holds the rank of Second Lieutenant. In this role, Lourdes mentors and instructs cadets in leadership, instruction, citizenship, as well as personal and team development. Lourdes is passionate about advocacy, student affairs, and the nursing profession. As a firm believer in lifelong learning, Lourdes plans to pursue a master’s education to further her nursing knowledge and achieve excellence in nursing care.
